INBLUEM: FOUNDER MONTANA LOWER
The INBLUEM Series delves into the hearts and minds of beautifully inspiring souls who explore their journeys of growth, Self Love, and vibrant connection. In our latest instalment we delve into the world of our visionary founder, Montana Lower. A world where connection, intuition, and the rhythm of nature intertwine. INBLUEM is more than a skincare brand; it's a philosophy of living in harmony with oneself and the planet.
My name is Montana and this is me, INBLUEM:
“When I’m INBLUEM I feel connected to my womb, my intuition.
My heart has its petals out pulsating, my core is strong and vibrant, connected to my centre.
To be INBLUEM isn’t this idea of perpetual flowering because as we know all things have their seasons. It is an acknowledgement of the foundational life it has taken to get here and the ecosystem around me that has made it possible to thrive. It’s the knowing that one day when it is time to rest I can lay down and know that I will continuously feed the soil which feeds us, and around and around we go.
When spring has sprung and flowers bloom we all dance together, without competition or scarcity, each in our unique colours, shapes and sizes. Blooming in synchronicity and the rhythm of nature”
A Glimpse into Montana's World:
What are you watching/reading/listening to at the moment?
I haven’t watched anything in MONTHS! Which is odd for me because I used to be a pretty big film fiend. I’ve been listening to a lot of audio books though - braiding sweet grass is a must for anyone curious about forming a deeper loving relationship with the land. I’m also reading ‘Attached' which analyses attachment theory and the behaviours in which we connect with one another.
Who inspires you?
Who inspires me? There are many incredible people in the world doing amazing things. But mums who show up in presence for their children while also navigate showing up for their dharma in the world really blow me away. Whether it’s committing to the garden, a consistent self care practice, career, art. I feel like it’s all too easy to forget yourself in motherhood. But mothers have a really important voice in the world - we need them.
If you could have a conversation with your younger self what advice would you give her?
There were many philosophical answers I could have answered this with but mostly I’d just like to tell her to not go on the pill.
