REWILDING RETREAT - TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These Terms & Conditions apply to all participants booking and attending the InBluem × ConserVentures retreat (the “Retreat”).
By making a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. About This Retreat
This Retreat is co-hosted and jointly delivered by InBluem and ConserVentures.
For the purposes of these Terms & Conditions:

InBluem is responsible for retreat organisation, bookings, payments, participant communications, and overall retreat hosting, including payment to third-party suppliers.

ConserVentures is an independent facilitator and delivery partner and is responsible for the design and delivery of hiking, camping, nature-based, and outdoor activities, including safety management in outdoor and National Park environments. ConserVentures may also coordinate or arrange certain retreat components (including accommodation and catering) on behalf of InBluem.
Both parties work collaboratively to deliver the Retreat experience.
2. Booking & Contractual Relationship
2.1 When you make a booking for the Retreat, you enter into a contract with InBluem in relation to:

bookings
-
payments
-
cancellations
-
refunds
-
booking administration
2.2 All payments are made to InBluem, and any questions relating to payments, refunds, or booking changes must be directed to InBluem.
3. Payments
3.1 A booking is confirmed once the required deposit or full payment has been received by InBluem.
3.2 Payment plans (if offered) must be completed by the dates specified at booking.
3.3 Failure to complete payment by the due date may result in cancellation of your booking.
4. Cancellations by Participant
4.1 Cancellation and refund terms are outlined on the Retreat booking page and form part of these Terms & Conditions.
4.2 All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to InBluem.
4.3 No refunds will be provided for:

early departure from the Retreat
-
missed activities
-
removal from activities or the Retreat for safety or conduct reasons
5. Changes or Cancellation by Hosts
5.1 InBluem and ConserVentures reserve the right to modify, postpone, or cancel the Retreat where reasonably necessary due to circumstances beyond their control, including but not limited to:
-
extreme weather or fire danger
-
trail closures or National Park restrictions
-
environmental or safety concerns
-
illness or unavailability of key facilitators
-
minimum participant numbers not being met
5.2 Where the Retreat is cancelled prior to commencement, InBluem will offer a refund, credit, or transfer in accordance with the cancellation policy.
6. Facilitated Activities & Waivers
6.1 Certain components of the Retreat involve hiking, camping, and outdoor activities facilitated by ConserVentures.
6.2 Participation in these activities is conditional upon:

signing a separate Participant Waiver issued by ConserVentures
-
complying with all safety instructions and decisions made by ConserVentures facilitators
6.3 Participants acknowledge that ConserVentures facilitators have authority to:

modify activities or routes
-
make emergency decisions
-
require rest or exclusion from activities
-
evacuate participants where necessary
-
remove participants from activities or the Retreat for safety or conduct reasons
Removal from activities or the Retreat does not entitle the participant to a refund.
7. Participant Responsibilities
7.1 Participants are responsible for:
-
ensuring they meet the fitness and experience requirements outlined for the Retreat
-
bringing required gear and equipment
-
managing their own medical needs
7.2 Participants must behave respectfully towards:
-
other participants
-
facilitators and hosts
-
Indigenous knowledge holders
-
park staff
-
the natural environment
7.3 Unsafe, disruptive, or disrespectful behaviour may result in removal from activities or the Retreat without refund.
8. National Parks & Environmental Conditions
8.1 Retreat activities may take place in National Parks or protected areas.
8.2 Participants must comply with all park management rules, ranger directions, fire restrictions, and environmental regulations.
8.3 Itineraries may be altered due to weather, fire bans, trail closures, or park management decisions beyond the control of InBluem or ConserVentures.
9. Indigenous Cultural Activities
9.1 The Retreat may include Indigenous-led cultural activities such as Welcome to Country or smoking ceremonies.
9.2 Participants agree to engage respectfully, follow cultural protocols as explained, and comply with any restrictions relating to photography, recording, or conduct.
10. Alcohol & Substances
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, the Retreat is non-alcoholic and substance-free.
11. Media & Photography
11.1 InBluem and ConserVentures may capture photographs, video, or audio during the Retreat for promotional or archival purposes.
11.2 Participants who do not wish to be photographed must notify InBluem in writing prior to the Retreat.
12. Personal Property
12.1 Participants are responsible for their personal belongings at all times.
12.2 Neither InBluem nor ConserVentures are responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal property.
13. Privacy
Personal information is collected for the purposes of retreat administration, safety, and communication and will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
14. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
15. Acknowledgement
By booking the Retreat, you acknowledge that:

you have read and understood these Terms & Conditions

you understand that bookings and payments are managed by InBluem
-
you understand that participation in outdoor activities requires signing a separate waiver issued by ConserVentures
-
you agree to comply with all instructions and requirements associated with the Retreat
