$11,500 DONATED TO THE RETURNING
Because of you, on January 26th we were able to donate $11,533.47 and 100 Finger Lime and Kakadu Plum serums from INBLUEM to ‘The Returning’- an indigenous run organisation committed to healing our relationship with each other and the planet. This donation will be supporting at least 40 Indigenous women and single mothers to attend The Gathering, which covers accommodation, food, travel costs, and materials over three days. As I write this tears swell in my eyes. I am so humbled by this journey. I cannot wait to personally experience the magic of ‘The Returning’ at their womens event ‘The Gathering’ this weekend! Thank you everyone for all your kindness and support. We are so grateful!
THE GATHERING
Connecting on Bundjalung land, The Gathering is an Indigenous and female run weekend event, empowering femmes through health and wellness, knowledge sharing and creating skills that you can take back into your community, integrate into your lives and support you to live a healthier, more intentional and fulfilled life. This women-only event creates a sacred container for sisters, elders and children to come together and recognise the powerful support women can be for one another.
The Gathering encompasses learning about plant wisdom, pregnancy, holistic healing, deep dadarri, birth and beyond, being in ceremony, cultivating community and experiencing a taste of what true magic feels like when we gather with intention. The Gathering offers full scholarships to Indigenous women and single mothers because wellness, education, community and organic meals should not be a privilege, but a right.
“YOU ARE INVITED TO RETURN TO WHOLENESS, TO NATURE, TO KNOWLEDGE, TO OURSELVES AND TO ONE ANOTHER.”
Starting in 2018, The Gathering was sparked from a desire to see change in the retreat and wellness space, and is open to all women and reaches to come together as sisters to learn from elders, maidens and mothers. We are so grateful to be attending The Gathering over the weekend to lean into connection, decolonisation, embodiment, activism, community building and the reclamation of our magic.
This beautiful retreat is curated for women, by women, and is held several times a year. Please follow the link below to learn more about The Gathering, or the other beautiful programs offered by The Returning.
