When women gather to rewild, an ancient depth stirs within.

The Sapphire Coast welcomes us with turquoise waters and winds scented with salt and
eucalyptus.
Guided by INBLUEM’s Montana Lower, Conseventures’ founder Jada Andersen, and
Artist Ali Webber, women from all walks of life gather to hike the iconic Light to Light
trail — thirty-two kilometres stretching through the rugged beauty of Beowa National
Park, to then reach the sanctuary of Tanja Lagoon Camp, where two restorative nights of retreat await.
Hiking packs become our homes for the coming days, each carefully packed with the essentials we'll carry on our journey.
We arrive at Boyd Tower, where Indigenous man Nathan Lygon welcomes us to Yuin
Country with a smoking ceremony, grounding us in reverence for culture and respect for
the land beneath our feet. His words set the tone for the days ahead — to walk with awareness, humility, and open hearts.
As we traverse the undulating coastline, laughter rises easily against a backdrop of
jagged headlands, hidden coves, and an ocean shifting through endless shades of blue.
Dolphins appear beside the cliffs as though guiding us onward.
By midday, we gather for lunch. Seated in a circle upon the earth, Ali shares the art of
weaving. Our hands move rhythmically, guiding fibre, while stories and conversation intertwine, weaving connections of their own.
Trudging through diverse bushland and coastal heath, we arrive at the first campsite.
With relief and exhilaration, we run toward the glistening aquamarine water, diving
beneath its surface and letting the sea hold us. Silica-rich sand glows beneath the fading
light as our bodies soften into stillness. Portraits are captured on wave-lapped rocks,
tents rise beneath golden skies, water is filtered, and dinner simmers as the sun slips away.
Morning greets us with swims in crystalline water, guided meditation, stretching
beneath the open sky, and breakfast shared slowly. Salt-kissed skin, steady footsteps,
unfolding conversations — we continue as eagles saw overhead and the land carries us forward.
At Saltwater Creek, tannin-rich waters invite another glorious swim before we linger over lunch in the warmth of the afternoon sun.
INBLUEM’s Native Hydrosoul mists our skin as we walk through fern-lined gullies and
towering eucalyptus forests. Across boulder-strewn bays and steep stone stairways, we near our final campsite.
As the sun sets pink, some women reach for charcoal, paintbrushes, or weaving needles.
Creativity flows effortlessly, alongside laughter and quiet reflection, until we retreat once more into sleeping bags beneath the stars.
At dawn, our packs and bellies are full for the final day of walking. The landscape shifts
through shades of ochre, mauve, quartz, deep greens, and burnt orange. Birds flicker
through sculptural Melaleuca branches whilst something within us untangles.
Rocky escarpments and winding bush trails lead us toward Bittangabee Bay, where we
sip warm drinks, swim in clear waters, and pause to absorb the beauty surrounding us.
Though our bodies tire, none of us wants the journey to end. We continue onward along
cliffs and coastal gullies toward the white lighthouse of Green Cape.
At Pulpit Rock, we stop to gaze north across the vast stretch of coastline we have hiked
together. A collective sigh moves through the group — gratitude for our strong leaders, accomplishment within and pure awe. We’re almost there.
Cheers erupt as we reach the lighthouse. Hugs are exchanged. Tears are quietly held.
This group of women has accomplished far more than a hike.
Packs loaded once more into cars, we drive toward the retreat as Disaster Bay glimmers
below us — our final view of the pristine South Coast, forever etched into memory.

Swifting along a winding road of Spotted Gum Trees, we arrive at Tanja Lagoon Camp,
where the call of the ocean and the bird song of many grace our luxury glamping accommodation.
Settling into our cabins by the lagoon, we are warmed by the glow of the open fire under
the darkened sky, nestled in nature. We share a meal around the fire, and wind down for a restorative night's sleep.
Upon waking, a beautiful breakfast awaits us, inviting a gentle beginning to the day. We
then gather for a nurturing INBLUEM Skincare ritual guided by Montana, where the
intimacy of self-care intertwines with heartfelt connection. In this sacred space of
sharing, reflection, and presence, what rests upon our hearts is welcomed, witnessed, and gently transformed.
The afternoon invites us to move at our own rhythm, flowing into whatever nourishes us
most — gathering in creative expression, exploring the treasures within our INBLUEM
gift box, or surrendering to the restorative embrace of a magnesium flower bath.
A nourishing lunch follows, thoughtfully prepared by the Bega Aboriginal Land Council, celebrating the rich flavours and wisdom of native foods.
As night approaches, we’re encouraged to write a letter to a woman in the group, then share our pieces around the fire in a wholesome experience.
Ali–affectionately known as the group’s Swiss Army knife–demonstrates how to create a
friction fire by hand drilling, and then the sisters unite in a display of bow drilling,
where the ember is symbolically passed around the group before being engulfed in flames.
Jada leads us in gentle Yin Yoga flow movement around the fire, then we sleep to the
glow of the full moon as she rises over the ocean and sinks into the mountains.
Waking to a symphony of morning bird songs, we join together by the lagoon shore at
sunrise to dip oars in still water as we paddle canoes to the bluff. Climbing over dunes,
we shine our skin in the morning sun as we dash for the clear ocean waves, and enjoy
one last swim together-a joyful celebration of all that has been remembered, reclaimed, and woven between us.
Breakfast and ceremonial cacao are followed by a sharing circle, where we say our heartfelt goodbyes.
An affinity unfolded between all, woven through shared glances, conversations, sacred
silence, and the collective unwinding of the tamed woman. Each of us answered a quiet calling to come here — to be held, inspired, challenged, and free.

Crossing country, she arrives—
dust on her skin, sky in her stride,
the noise of the world loosening
with every step left behind.
She comes seeking—
not answers, but depth,
threads of something quieter
woven beneath breath.
Miles unfold beneath her feet,
a pilgrim both burdened and free—
carrying weight in her bones,
yet walking as lightly as the sea breeze.
From towers to burning horizons
she gathers soft knowing—
sunset smiles, silent lessons,
the kind only the earth can be showing. There is wisdom in her—ancient, awake—
unafraid to rise, to strike, to shape,
to unearth what was hidden in stone,
to claim what was always her own.
And somewhere along the winding way,
in the hush between step and sound, she remembers—
she was never lost, only circling homeward,
And there—she is crowned.
She feels.
She sees.
She knows.
She is—beautiful, boundless, and whole.
