Article: HOW TO GLOW WITH KAKADU PLUM

HOW TO GLOW WITH KAKADU PLUM

Collagen boosting, melanin inhibiting, increased skin elasticity, scar reducing, promotes an even and brighter complexion - there is no wonder Kakadu Plum’s (Gubinge) are considered the ‘Gift of the Dreamtime’. Not only have they evolved to contain the highest known concentration of Vitamin-C in the world, and be loaded with antioxidants, but are able to survive Australia’s harsh outback environment. So how can you use Kakadu Plum in your skin rituals to create a healthier and more radiant complexion?

Did you know that the body doesn’t naturally produce its own Vitamin-C? It’s vital for the growth, development, healing and repair of all body tissues. Which is why it was important for us to source, not only natural Vitamin-C, but the fruit with the highest concentration of Vitamin-C (100x more than an orange) - the delicious Kakadu Plum. Our Kakadu Plum Serum contains natural Vitamin-C along with a complete entourage of antioxidants, bioflavonoids and amino acids which work in synergy with each other. Meaning that it is in its most purest form and the way nature intended. This makes it more bioavailable, powerful, and easier for our skin to absorb and metabolise than its synthetic counterpart.

IN THE EVENING

When we sleep, our body goes through its natural repair process, allowing the rich Vitamin-C in our Kakadu Plum serum to have a stronger impact on your skin at this time. Applying Kakadu Plum after you have cleansed and exfoliated with a konjac sponge will allow the serum to more readily absorb into your skin so it can nourish you while you sleep to allow you to wake with a radiant glow.

IN THE MORNING

Due to the melanin inhibiting abilities found in the Kakadu Plum, applying in the morning can brighten your complexion, even out skin tone, and reduce redness so you can glow all day long. The Natural Vitamin-C in our Kakadu Plum can also help to protect your skin from UV damage due to the rich antioxidant properties.

Antioxidants fight off free-radicals which cause oxidative stress on the body which can result in skin dysfunction and premature ageing. Synthetic Vitamin-C unfortunately does not contain these potent properties and can sometimes increase skin sensitivity.

AS AN 'EYE-CREAM'

The skin around our eyes is thinner and more delicate than the skin on other parts of our body, which is why it is so important to be gentle when applying products in this area. Massaging the rich Vitamin-C found in our Kakadu Plum serum to the delicate under-eye area can stimulate the production of collagen to help improve your skin’s vitality and elasticity, resulting in smoother and firmer skin.

Vitamin-C can help reduce the appearance of dark circles and fine lines to encourage the celebration of growing into your skin. Let Kakadu Plum nourish your under-eyes and thank us later for the natural radiance and glow. It’s important to remember that before you go lathering our nourishing Kakadu Plum Serum all over your face, you should always treat inflammation/a damaged skin barrier with the Finger Lime Repair Serum first.
