What makes our Buddhawood Face & Body Oil different?

What’s so different about our Buddhawood Face & Body Oil? Well, at INBLUEM, we're not about adding to the noise. We're about creating solutions that truly impact the beauty industry for the better. Our deeply hydrating Buddhawood infused Organic Hemp and Macadamia Oil aims to restore balance, resilience and rejuvenation to your skin. This lightweight oil is easily absorbed and can be used as a nourishing base before applying makeup or providing deep hydration in your self care ritual. Today in our Self Love Journal we explore this beautiful, lightweight blend of oils and why it’s so nourishing for your skin.

Why an oil instead of a moisturiser?

Our Buddhawood Face & Body oil, designed to pair with our water soluble serums, is a game-changer in hydration. It's not just another moisturiser – it's a replacement for mainstream options that often contain mostly water, thickening agents and preservatives with minimal active ingredients. Seriously, why settle for that? When it comes to boosting skin moisture beyond our water-soluble serums, we prioritise nurturing the skin’s lipid layer with organic, cold-pressed oils and steer clear of conventional cream moisturisers. This aims to harmonise your skin's natural oil production and moisture levels, and allows you to develop an understanding of your own skin and what it needs at any given time to function at optimum health.

How can it benefit my skin?

The Buddhawood Face + Body oil is a lightweight, cold pressed oil blend which combines the nourishing properties of Organic Hemp Seed oil and organic Macadamia oil, infused with the rare and captivating aroma of wild Buddhawood and its essential oil. This oil is beautiful for those with healthy skin who are seeking a little extra moisturisation and deep hydration. Designed to be enjoyed all over your face and body to leave your skin feeling smooth, soft and deeply hydrated.  Our organic Hemp seed oil, is a raw cold pressed oil extracted from the seeds of the cannabis sativa plant from Northern NSW, Australia. While our Organic Macadamia oil is a luxurious, golden, raw cold pressed oil extracted from the nuts of the macadamia tree (Macadamia integrifolia and Macadamia tetraphylla), native to Australia and sourced locally. These are rich in essential fatty acids (omega-3, 6 and 9) and moisture locking properties, and the non-comedogenic oils work in synergy to help support healthy skin barrier function, and maintain its natural hydration.

Why we chose to work with Buddhawood?

Eremophila Mitchellii, commonly known as Buddha Wood, is a small tree or large shrub native to the arid regions sourced sustainably and ethically from south east Queensland. Buddhawood is our antidote to the sandalwood industry. Where sandalwood leaves behind scars of deforestation, our Buddhawood is harvested sustainably in remote regions of Queensland, supporting the growth of plants rather than chopping them down.
