The Art-Form of Blooming: Creating with Tess Guinery
When we first approached Tess Guinery with the idea for a collaboration, we couldn’t have imagined how beautifully her poetic soul would intertwine with the ethos of INBLUEM. Known for her whimsical world of art, movement, poetry, and visual expression, her work - an intertwining of all mediums, of raw creativity - perfectly complemented our philosophy of throwing away the rule book. These everyday totems - the Bloom Garden Cap, Flower Oversized Tee and Forager Market Tote - are a celebration of intentionality, growth, and the quiet power of a fierce "yes."
On her Substack, Tess shared the story of creating this collection. She described how the invitation came through what she calls “the door of possibilities”—her email inbox, a place where opportunities unfold like petals. Reflecting on her process, she wrote:
"Three days—just three—to gather the words, summon the art, and watch it take shape. The process felt less like making and more like discovering: A poem slipping quietly into place, a visual that simply connected the dots."
"I imagined us as vessels—each one distinct, imperfectly whole, filled with the curious, often hidden elements that allow us to bloom in our own unique way."
The collaboration was as much about simplicity as it was about depth. From the green pastel she hadn’t touched in years, waiting for its purpose, to the late-night sketching sessions, every element of her process carried intention and grace.
This was a harmonious experience - a meeting of shared values and creative vision. Her ability to immerse herself in our world, to listen and translate its essence into words and images, was nothing short of extraordinary.
We’re beyond proud to share INBLUEM: The Art-Form with you—a collection imbued with thoughtfulness, simplicity, and a celebration of creativity unfolding in its purest form.
