INBLUEM: NIDALA BARKER

The INBLUEM Series delves into the hearts and minds of beautifully inspiring souls who explore their journeys of growth, Self Love, and vibrant connection. In our first installment we introduce the incredible spirit of Nidala Barker and ask her what it means to be INBLUEM.
My name is Nidala and this is me, INBLUEM:
I am a Jabirr-Jabirr & Djugun singer-songwriter, storyteller and custodianship educator.
To be INBLUEM is to exist in the world with all the beauty and intricacies it took to make me, held up strong, on a stem made of ancestors and purpose. Petals many, colours endless and pollen sweat.
Because to be INBLUEM is to sit in gratitude for the soil that feeds me, made of nourishment and care, this took time and energy and accepting that I was worthy of it all.
That was not easy. But to be INBLUEM means that I was once a seed, and through the magic of this Earth I grew. And soon, when my petals begin to fall one by one, I will be seed once more, this time with enough of my to make an entire meadow glow with colour.
Much like self love, our skin needs a great foundation. The Nurture Ritual is designed by the divine to help heal, hydrate and protect you; we can't wait to see you INBLUEM.
